Have I ever appeared in a movie? No. But I was paid to be
an extra in the Charlie Sheen movie Navy Seals which was filmed in
Norfolk, Virginia. I was one of the Marines walking around in the
background on an aircraft carrier (I think it was the Kitty
Hawk). Never saw myself in the movie.
Ultimate Guy Movie
Everyone knows that guys love movies with fast cars, beautiful women, and things blowing up. It's in our nature. But the most basic, primitive side of man draws us to Fight Club, which is, in my opinion, the ultimate guy film. The one thing men strive for in life is to be the dominant male. That is true with lions, wolves, and every animal. Modern man shows his dominance with material possessions or with women who are drawn to men because of their material possessions. Long before there were cars, explosives, and guns, men showed superiority through physical dominance. No movie depicts this as well as "Fight Club." It's a guy film for real, red blooded, calloused hands, beer bottle smashing, meat and potatoes eating, women chasing, muscle car driving, testosterone filled men. It is not for peace loving, kitten petting, in-touch with his feminine side, pastel pink wearing, vegan, girlie men.
